Universal Pack designs and builds a wide range of custom-built sachet packaging machines. Specifically, our vertical continuous-motion sachet machines can handle low-viscosity and free flowing liquids with high dosing accuracy thanks to our gravimetric and flowmeter dosing systems.
On one hand, gravimetric perfectly works with thinner liquid products. This dosing solution uses the gravity principle to let the liquid flow into the sachets. The opening time of the peristaltic closure determines the dose into the sachets. The peristaltic closure also allows the sachets already filled to be sealed, by blocking the flowing of the product. To summarize, gravimetric is characterized by minimum maintenance, high flexibility, compromising precision and ease of cleaning.
On the other hand, flowmeter is suitable to dose semi-liquid and viscous products, with micrometrical adjustment of the dose. The difference between flowmeter and gravimetric results in the working principle. While gravimetric is based on the opening and closing time of the peristaltic closure, flowmeter calculates the mass of the flowing liquid through sensors.
In both cases, we design dosing nozzles and cleaning procedures to suit the characteristics of your product.
Our sachet machines for liquids guarantee a compact solution combining the highest output with a small footprint. These solutions include many advantages such as great dose accuracy, minor wrapping material waste, easy handling and cleaning. Moreover, our user-friendly and modular sachet machines allow our customers to reduce downtime and fulfill their increasingly high production demands.
